The General Information listed below is the same for every performance. The section following this has specific game itinerary information for The Blues Brothers Act's  performance in each individual sport. Please click here to go to the list of individual event guides.

 ** An important Note…

After reading this, please download, fill out and  e-mail back the Event Booking Worksheet As soon as possible!!

 GENERAL

The following itinerary and checklist is suggested by Jake and Elwood so that they will be able to put on the best possible show for you and your fans.  This is not written in stone and the boys will accommodate any changes you may need to make for on-field or special promotions.  If you should have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to call us at 800-962-2471.  Thank you for your every consideration.  Here’s looking forward to a successful event.

 SPECIFIC DETAILS

            1.     When The Blues Brothers arrive into town, they will check into the hotel first.  Please have three double non-smoking rooms reserved and paid under:  “The Blues Brothers”.

2.     The Boys like to arrive to set-up the game at least three hours before game time.  Or two hours prior to gates, whatever is earlier. Please have space for them to park, and a parking pass under “The Blues Brothers”.

3.     Please have the following items in their dressing room:

§         Four towels

§         Shower facilities in locker room or nearby

§         Beverages: ice, water and a pot of coffee

§         Team paraphernalia (to be used during game, i.e. hats, T-shirts, any promo items that you would like them to distribute).

§         Food prior to or just after performance depending on time of show.

4.     They need a detailed meeting with the sound and P.A. persons 30 minutes prior to gates to go over game itinerary, introductions and music selections.  Their music and how it plays will determine whether or not their routines work well.  (This is the most important item.)

5.     They require a person to be designated to assist them during the game with mics and other details.  (A liaison also helps the show run well).  They need that person from two hours prior to the event until one hour after game time.  If possible, give the liaison a two-way radio to use for show.

6.     They may need a person to play a vendor or other volunteers to join in on the fun; they will contact you regarding this prior to the show.

7.     They need to meet with the officials prior to the game, to make sure everything in the show is okay with them.

8.     Please let Jake and Elwood know about any special occasions in the crowd, (i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, or special groups).

9.     Sound They will need space to set up their equipment near your sound equipment. Your sound person will be running their music.  They have their own wireless microphones and microphone stands.  The Blues Brothers need at least one input connection in your soundboard and one regular AC power connection to make their system operable.

10. After the game is set up, The Bros. Need to be able to hang out somewhere that is closed off to the public.  (Their show is more effective if a big entrance is used after the game has begun.)

11. The boys require to be paid the balance due on their contract for all travel and performance fees prior to the start of the show.  (This eliminates the problem of finding the head check writer guru after the stadium lights have been shut off!)  Please make checks payable to Bob Masewicz.

12. They prefer to make their first appearance during the game by driving on the warning track with their car, coming out of the home team tunnel or from a gate close to the playing surface.  It usually works great to let them hang out in the home locker room or some other room close to the playing surface until they make their first appearance.  They will be in the crowd from that point forward.
